The NEW TRU Hardware banner was introduced to Canadian communities early in 2011. This exciting new brand, which replaced the previous True Value* banner, provides customers the same great service and the same great products.
Owned and operated by independent retailers, TRU Hardware is more than just a hardware store. These stores offer their community what it needs, when it needs it. From a wide product selection to friendly, attentive customer service, TRU Hardware is a good neighbour you can count on.
You can expect to find products in the categories of hardware, plumbing and heating, automotive, toys, paint and accessories, pet supplies, seasonal products, housewares, electrical, tools, workwear and so much more.
The new format stores are serviced through TruServ Canada, a distribution company with a history of helping independent retailers. The head office, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, employees over 240 employs, and has a 400,000 sq. ft. distribution centre. A second distribution centre is located in Kitchener, Ontario.
