Peacebuilder Mediation is a law firm that limits what it does to: teaching, workshops, mediation (all focused around peacemaking).

Wayne Plenert is the firm's driving force. Wayne has been a Mediator for over 25 years in the Peace River area and elsewhere. Now, with a Masters of Laws (Alternative Dispute Resolution), Wayne can offer this wide range of conflict and leadership support.

Wayne is a mediator listed by Mediate BC, and is on that Society's Board of Directors and their Vice President. He was president of the BC Mediator Roster Society from 2007 until 2010. He is also qualified as a Family Law Mediator under the Law Society of British Columbia rules and has been since 1985.

Wayne has mediated in hundreds of cases, from commercial to family to personal injury, estate planning to buy-sell agreements. He taught Conflict Resolution at Menno Simons College on the campus of the University of Winnipeg, Interpersonal Conflict and Transformative Leadership at Northern Lights College. He has taught courses and led workshops in healthy conflict for various institutions. He has also chaired many contentious public and private meetings and forums. His mission is offering people the chance of creatively confronting conflict.
