Hey there, my name is Brandyn. Although I don’t typically show it, I am the face behind Whiskey ‘N’ Walnut Woodworks. I like a good whiskey, and I love walnut, but I do not limit myself to either! I moved to Fort St. John October last year for work, which is about the time that woodworking became (almost) a second full-time job.
I began tinkering with small projects in February 2019 for the sole purpose of filling my down time after work. I started with my one grandfather’s 1938 Craftsman table saw and his jointer, and I began to add tools as orders slowly started to flow in. I can now do a wide variety of projects, including custom designs with my CNC machine. I’ve made everything from trays, charcuterie boards, coasters, signs, cutting boards, and am slowly testing the waters with small furniture and tables.
I have intermittently coached lacrosse and football throughout the last 8 years and hope to get back into it this year if all goes well. I am also aiming to start becoming a part of local farmer’s markets now that Christmas orders have been checked off the list. I look forward to meeting you all and thank you very much for the support thus far!
