The Site C Clean Energy Project – Construction Sequence
Take a more detailed look at at the construction of the new BC Hydro dam and how it will be more efficient than previous dams on the same river system as it will benefit from the current W.A.C. Bennett dam reservoir.
The Site C dam will generate 35% of the power of the W.A.C. Bennett dam with only using a reservoir that is 5% of the size.
Estimated project completion date is in the fiscal year of 2024.
Housing for workers will be built for on average of 800 workers per year with a peak of 1700 workers.
