W.A.C Bennett Dam: is a large 186 meter hydroelectric Dam on the Peace River and is one of the world’s highest earth filled dams. The Bennett Dam reuses water which has already generated electricity at the Gordon M. Shrum power station. The W.A.C Bennett Dam offers guided and self-guided tours for everyone to enjoy.

It has exhibits in the area’s natural history and the pioneer history and exhibits on the building of the Peace Canyon Project. World’s largest glass Beehive: Stop and visit the largest glass beehive in the world! There are guided tours available and you can see how honey is extracted from the hive. And end the tour by getting some fresh honey products.

North Peace Museum Complex: Is a perfect place to visit and to learn about the region of Fort St. John region from the First Nations’ settlement to the oil and gas industries today. If you book in advance even book a guided tour through the museum.

Fish Creek Community Forest: Is a great way to get some fresh air and to enjoy Fort St. Johns natural environment. There are also three trails that you can enjoy; the Anatomy trail, Silviculture trail, and the Multi-Purpose trail.
